11th Film Festival invitation with the SOFIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

WHO'S AFRAID OF THE WATER SPRITE? has been invited to participate at the 14th Sofia International Film Festival as part of Short Films Show Case.

Sofia International Film Festival is the biggest film festival in Bulgaria and one of the key film events in Central and Eastern Europe. It is described by Variety as one of the world’s top 50 unmissable film events. More than 500 internationally acclaimed filmmakers have attended the festival over the past twelve years including Jean-Claude Carriere, Peter Greenaway, Otar Iosseliani, Terry Jones, Andrei Konchalovsky, Emir Kusturica, Jiri Menzel, Nikita Mikhalkov, Michael Palin, Jafar Panahi, Alan Parker, Jerry Schatzberg, Volker Shloendorff, Agnes Varda, Wim Wenders, Krzysztof Zanussi, and many others.

The 14th Sofia International Film Festival will be held from 5 until 14 March 2010 in Sofia. The festival will present 150 films – feature films, documentaries and several programmes of short films. SIFF has an International Competition (Grand Prix for best first & second film) and Special Jury Award, Kodak Award for best Bulgarian feature film, Jameson Short Film
Award for Best Short.
