Award win and London Short Film Festival acceptance!
Its been a busy month screening 'Who's Afraid of the Water Sprite?' around Europe, the response to the film has been just incredible. Iv also learnt a great amount at the festivals and meet some fantastic filmmakers. A personal highligh so far has been the Kiev International Film Festival, where we did very well in the audience vote. You can see the screening and press conference for 'Who's Afraid of the Water Sprite? bellow.
We where also lucky enough to pick up the 'Best Cinematography Award' at the Exposures Film Festival, which was a great festival up in Manchester. The Award ceremony was a wonderful experience with complimentary Corona running freely and a host of industry professionals milling around, so fantastic for socialising and networking. It was also a great honor to go on stage and receive the award. A big congratulations rely must go to our Director of Photography Adam Etherington.
This morning I also received an exciting email from the programmer of the London Short Film Festival, informing me that 'Who's Afraid of the Water Sprite?' had been selected for screening. Im very excited to be screening at the LSFF, heres a note from the festival 'The capital becomes a cinematic sprawl. And we want your psychogeographic odyssey to encompass the spirit-raising zebra crossings of animation, the cerebral cyclepaths of experimentalism and drama that leads directly to the back alleys of the soul'. The festival kicks of in January, all are welcome so check out there website if you want to come along to the screening. www.shortfilms.org.uk
